If the link is in the context of the information provided on a page, a free link is allowed, i.e. the homepage of an emulator in that emulator's description
[edit] Advertising and "Download Source" Links
If the link is an intentional advertisement, it must conform with the following rules:
It is placed only in pre-specified advertising areas
The site must link to the page.. I.e. if an ad is placed on on the Nintendo DS Emulators page, a link to the Nintendo DS Emulator page must be placed on the advertised site.
The link must conform with the other links and format provided in the advertising section
The link must be placed at the bottom of the list. it will move up as other links are removed and more links are added to the bottom. We have a zero tolerance policy on people prematurely moving their links up the list.
